Three Rivers Belgian Tervuren

Ch. Corsini Terracotta

"Spice"  dob: 2/2/2002   bred by: Amanda McLaren, Great Britain
BISS English Ch. Magnum de la Clairiere aux Louves x Lauren de Condivicnum at Corsini

Almost daily Bonny and I refer to our "Spice Girl", CH. Corsini Terracotta, as a special blessing. From the kind and generous efforts of Carole Corbin and Lynn Brandenburg in bringing Spice from England to our West Coast home, to the magic of her birthdate numbers, 02/02/02 - everything about this girl has been Extra Special.

I like to refer to Spice as a "step-in Belgian", she loves to step forward to meet new people and children, an engaging, charismic greeting. She's a natural, taking that ease into the show ring for major points the very first time in the show ring. A square bodied, red coated bitch with elegant features of correct breed type, Spice makes our time in the show ring a lot of fun. She comes by this via a very impressive dam and sire, and their considerable   accomplishments in one of Europe's best Tervuren pedigrees. We hope Spice is a quality contribution to that legacy.

Spice was bred to Ch. Chimeric Desperado, CD RN CGC TDI, for her first litter.  Photos and information about the ThreeRivers 'A' litter may be found here

We were very pleased with her first litter were hoping to breed Spice again in 2007 - however, she presented us with petit mal epilepsy (sadly, we knew all too much about epilepsy from one of our first Tervs, Jaxx) as did her litter sister in Delaware.  We'd hoped for the best, but one of Spice's pups was also affected, the beautiful Willow.  So far, at 3 years of age, the rest of the litter is seizure free.   Of course, Spice has been spayed and will remain the Grand Dame of our household.
